A NEW YOUTH AND COMMUNITY BUILDING in Woodrow
Your Ideas | The Den, Woodrow
In March 2023, Your Ideas Youth and Community Project received a grant of £1.4 million from the Youth Investment Fund to redevelop our second site in Bengrove Close, Woodrow, in Redditch.
Building work will commence in October 2023, with completion set for May/June 2024.
This development will be a purpose-built youth and community building known as 'Your Ideas | The Den.' It will feature state-of-the-art facilities, mirroring those of our Matchborough site and offering even more.
The site will include a purpose sports hall, kitchen, art room, games room, outdoor basketball court, garden area, bicycle store, and much more.
We will run youth clubs, sporting activities, and services for young people after school and during the day, open to residents of Woodrow and the wider Redditch Community.
Our spaces will also be available for hire by other community organisations, and they will serve as a hub for outside organisations that support children, young people, and their families.
We have many exciting plans in the coming months, which we look forward to sharing with you. In the meantime, our Woodrow youth clubs are currently operating from a temporary base in the Woodrow Meeting Rooms. If you're interested in having your child join, please complete the waiting list form.
Residents of Woodrow and the wider communities of Redditch are encouraged to contact us to discuss 'your ideas' about how we can shape our activities for young people and our community when the new building is completed.
